Introduction

Better workforce,
higher productivity

The Worker Support program strengthens and maintains the employment supply chain’s support to improve the quality of life (WWB) for workers well working in factories in Vietnam.

Improving the quality of life for workers, by developing and integrating health care programs, activities, and events related to the wellbeing of workers into the annual social activities of factories and enterprises.

Capacity building for workers’ representative groups by coordinating with factories / enterprises to conduct training programs that provide the health and knowledge needed for the representative groups workers so they can promote WWB activities at the factory and factory themselves.

Supporting the Board of Directors of factories / enterprises in monitoring the progress of implementation and impact assessment of WWB activities, by simple and appropriate methods and tools within the production context of the factory / factory.

2008 – 2019

Health care project for female workers (HERproject)

HERproject is the project of good health care and capacity building for factory workforce, which will contribute to boosting labor productivity and building a sustainable supply chain. The HER Project is tailoring health care training programs, selected based on the needs of workers in six main topics: Nutrition in diet, Personal hygiene, Preventive measures , contraception, sexually transmitted diseases; and adapted to suit the culture of each region.

Innovation Project Technical Assistance In Implementation Initiative To Improve The Quality Of Worker Life

Over the past 10 years, the LIFE Center and the Levi Strauss Foundation have been supporting over hundreds of factories in ensuring labor productivity and the quality of life of garment workers in Vietnam, helping businesses practice good social responsibility according to the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations.
